The short version
This website does not set any cookies of its own, and it does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others remember your choices, count visitors or track you across sites. The law also covers similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels. We call them all "cookies" here.
What this site uses
| Item | Provider | What it does | Cookie set? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website hosting | Fasthosts | Delivers the pages and protects the site against attacks | None by us. If the host sets a security cookie, it is strictly necessary and exempt from consent |
| Web fonts | Our own website host (self-hosted) | The typefaces the site uses are served from this website, not from a third party, so no other company receives your IP address for them | No |
| Analytics | None | We do not measure visits | No |
| Advertising or social media tracking | None | Not used | No |
Links to other websites, such as Companies House or the ICAEW, take you to sites with their own cookie rules.
If this changes
If we add a tool that stores information on your device, we will update this page first. Under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, some low-risk cookies, such as simple visitor statistics, no longer need prior consent so long as we tell you about them and you can easily refuse them. Anything used for advertising or to track you across sites will always need your consent, and we would ask before setting it.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Help is available for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
